The first IST-Africa Comparative eAdoption Report (ISBN: 1 905824 03 3) showcases the current level of national ICT and eGovernment, eHealth and eLearning adoption in Mozambique, South Africa and Tanzania through presentation of relevant data and illustrative case studies, collected by responsible government and other appropriate trans-national organisations, with the goal of informing policy at national, regional and international level. This report also provides an intial overview of some of the research organisations and universities active in these thematic areas in Mozambique, South Africa and Tanzania. This will be further developed in the 2nd IST-Africa Comparative eAdoption report to be published during 2007.
