Africa Development Forum (24th to 28th October,
1999 in Addis Abeba)
The event is being organised under the leadership
of the UN Economic Commission for Africa (see web-site at
http://www.uneca.org/adf99).
Commonwealth Business Forum (9-11 November,
1999 in Johannesburg)
Once again, this forum will be held on the eve
of the forthcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting
being in Durban, South Africa. The Forum is meeting under
the theme “Making Globalisation Work: Economic Advance
with Social Development”. This is an international business
event which brings together government and business leaders
to promote practices and policies for the enhancement of trade
and investment. The event includes a dialogue session on E-Commerce
in the Next Millennium (see Commonwealth Business Council
web-site at www.cbc.to).
