COMNET-IT is a Commonwealth initiative promoting:

  • Commonwealth Information Services
  • Good Practice and Capability-building in Public Service IT Policy Management and Application
  • an IT-forum for Commonwealth countries.

The Commonwealth Network of Information Technology for Development (COMNET-IT) is an international foundation sponsored by the Commonwealth Secretariat and the Government of Malta. It resources its activities through a network of collaborators and agencies including Malta Information Technology and Training Services Ltd (MITTS) located in Malta and the National Centre for Software Technology (NCST) in Bombay, India - which are designated as operational centres.
