Infrastructural and Programme Support

Infrastructural support for the COMNET-IT Foundation is initially provided by the Government of Malta through its agency, the Malta Information Technology and Training Services Limited. The Commonwealth Secretariat, through the Commonwealth Fund for Technical Co-operation (CFTC), along with other donors, supports COMNET-IT sponsored programmes.

A number of national agencies are represented on the COMNET-IT Board, serving as non-exclusive providers of human resources for the Foundation. These "Operational Centres" include:

• The National Centre for Software Technology (NCST) Mumbai (Bombay), India

• The Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Planning Unit (MAMPU) Sarawak, Malaysia

• Information Technology Services Ottawa, Canada

• The Department of Science and Technology, South Africa

• Central IT Office, Jamaica
