About COMNET-IT
Membership Programme
The COMNET-IT Membership Programme is designed to promote a forum for the dynamic exchange of knowledge and ideas through:
- international, regional and in-country seminars and workshops
in information technology and related aspects of telecommunications
- publication of COMNET-IT's journal, and a newsletter for members
- access, at favourable rates, to other authoritative material
negotiated by COMNET-IT under affiliate and collaborative agreements
- access to electronic discussion groups on current issues and
developments, limited to members and subject matter experts.

Types of Membership and Benefits
There are two types of membership: institutional and personal.
Institutional Membership entails an annual subscription fee of 1,500 U.S. dollars, with the following entitlements:
- five individual memberships
- access to COMNET-IT databases and discussion groups (under development)
- registration in a Commonwealth directory of IT service providers (under development)
- copies of publications and proceedings from international, regional and national seminars and workshops.
- discounts on fees for COMNET-IT activities and publications
- a four-page Internet web-site hosted on the COMNET-IT server.
The annual subscription fee for individual members is 100 U.S. dollars. Individual members benefit by:
- receiving COMNET-IT journal and newsletter
- having access to specialized electronic discussion groups (under development)
- getting rebates for events and publications
- having a listing in a COMNET-IT skills directory (under development)
Affiliation Agreement
We are pleased to announce that COMNET-IT and CAPAM
have concluded an affiliation agreement which offers a 20% discount for a CAPAM member taking out an individual or institutional membership in COMNET-IT.
Concurrently, an individual COMNET-IT member may take out a CAPAM membership at a 20% discount.
